Austin Ranch Trail

Plano Parkway & Windwaven Parkway to Sunset Park (Plano)
Austin Ranch Trail Map (PDF): The Austin Ranch trail connects The Colony’s trail system to trail systems in Plano and Carrollton and will ultimately link into Lewisville and Frisco for a continuous pedestrian loop that connects all five cities.

Park Loop Trail

North Colony Boulevard to Slay Baker Park (5600 Baker Drive)
Park Loop Trail Map (PDF): The Park Loop Trail winds through The Colony and will connect eleven parks and six schools once completed. Start your adventure in the Legends development, make your way through Slay Baker Park and continue up to North Colony Boulevard enjoying a plethora of scenic views and historical landmarks of The Colony. The current phase under construction will connect the Little Leauge Complex (5151 North Colony Boulevard) to Perryman Park (4930 South Colony Boulevard).

Ridgepoint Park and Stewart Creek Park (parking available at both trailheads) 
Shoreline Trail Map (PDF): The Colony Shoreline Trail features a 10 foot wide, 3.5 mile, stamped concrete and decomposed granite surface perfect for enjoying a walk, jog or bike ride along the beautiful shores of Lewisville Lake. Rustic bridges along the trail allow visitors to enjoy beautiful natural scenery and native wildlife. In addition, interpretive signage along the trail provides information about the flora, fauna and history of the area. Trailheads (trail starting point) are located at Ridgepoint Park (Standridge Drive & Sarasota Drive) and right outside the entrance to Stewart Creek Park (3700 Sparks Road).

The Colony Five Star Hike & Bike Trail

The Colony Five Star Hike and Bike Trail Map (PDF): The 1.3 miles of hike and bike trail that run along the perimeter of the 80-acre state-of-the-art sports facility is just one of the many elements of sports, community, environment, recreation and culture found at The Colony Five Star Complex. The trail features five QR F.I.T. stations designed to further enhance physical fitness. Visitors will use their smartphone with a camera and download a free QR Code reader application available through their phone’s application store. They will then scan the QR codes found at each station which will link to videos providing examples of different exercises which can be performed in conjunction with their walk/run along the trail.

The Tribute Shoreline Trail

The Tribute Shoreline Trail Map (JPG): The 3.11 mile, 10-foot wide environmentally sensitive trail begins near the Old American Golf Club (1015 Lebanon Road) and includes amenities such as a trailhead with parking and restrooms, interpretive signage highlighting cultural and native features of the lake and surrounding area, benches, picnic tables and trash / recycle receptacles at selected areas. The trail materials and proposed trail routes were carefully selected to minimize impact on the surrounding natural environment and to protect large tree stands and the designated Wildlife Habitat area.
